  220. Why doesn't quick colour
  221. picker allow lower case HEX
  222. values?

  224. Answer:  It is mathematically
  225. incorrect to represent a HEX
  226. value using lower case letters.
  227. A lower case "e" for example is
  228. used in many math situations to
  229. indicate an "exponential" value.
  230. It is also possible by using
  231. lower case values that you may be
  232. indicating a number system which
  233. has exceeded the length of both
  234. our numeric and uppercase
  235. alphabetic character sets.
  236. The uppercase letters from A-F are
  237. an indication of a base 16 number
  238. set...
